Re-Painted Trim on a Brick House Helped it Sell

Here’s the house before we painted it

A retired veteran asked us to paint the trim on his brick house. He already had a deal to sell the house but the mortgage inspectors insisted that the trim be painted before closing. He contacted us just a couple of weeks before closing, so we had to work fast.  We rushed an estimator out to his house to take measurements and collect all the details needed to provide an estimate. We offered him a discount because he is a veteran. He accepted the bid and sent in the deposit.

Please odn;t paint the front door

Our crew showed up and found this amusing note on the front door. They power washed the trim and the garage door and then waited for good weather before they could paint. Several days went by as this is the time of the year where the weather can be unpredictable. The homeowner got nervous, not seeing painting or other work happening. He contacted our project manager and complained. We explained to him that it was too windy on one day and too cold on another, but there was good weather in the forecast for the following day.

The following day, the weather was perfect and our crew finished the painting quickly. The homeowner was relieved that it got finished the day before closing and everything worked out just fine.
